Eagle County Schools

Phil Qualman is in his fifth year as Superintendent of Eagle County Schools.  Before working in this capacity, he served as Assistant Superintendent, Principal of Battle Mountain High School, Assistant Principal and a Social Studies teacher.  He spent eight years as a classroom teacher, and three years as President of a local Teacher’s Union.  He was also a commercial raft for 15 summers.  Phil holds a BA in History from the University of Missouri, and an MA in Administrative Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Colorado.   When not working, Philip enjoys time with his two kids, traveling, skiing, playing guitar, and rafting.
